1. Chew your food well and slowly. We are all on a busy schedule; but we must start eating more slowly. According to the French, we Americans eat way to fast--and we don't enjoy our food.


2. Do over eat. By slowing down your eating this will help with the over eating.


3. Avoid the late night snacking, eating anything.


4. Avoid the foods that you notice are irritating to your stomach on regular bases. Some of the most common foods that irritate are alcohol, coffee, and items that are barbecued.


5. Take digestive enzymes and probiotics. They will encourage the digestion process.


6. Take a walk after eating your meals. This also will encourage the digestion process.

8. Make a tea made with herbs for an after dinner dessert with the following recipe.


1 teabag of chamomile tea


1 teabag of peppermint tea
