When working to lose weight or stay in shape, keeping track of calories consumed and calories burned will be one of the most important things you can do. One of the easiest ways to keep track is to use the Bodybugg system. This device carefully measures your activity in real time and keeps track of calories burned so you can make the best decisions and easily manage your weight and fitness goals.
Instructions
1. Create your Bodybugg account. Go to www.bodybugg.com/activate, where you will be asked to create an account for your device. It's helpful to use the same email that you use on your cell phone, making it easier to access the program while you're on the go.
2. Activate your account, using the link provided in the email from Bodybugg. You will be asked to create a user name and to name your device.
3. Follow the instructions for device setup. This will include questionnaires about your current weight, activity levels and information regarding your Bodybugg device. You'll be asked to program your device and test it by wearing it to sync information.
4. Wear your armband. Position it on the triceps of your left arm, facing up toward the shoulder. Be certain that the silver sensors beneath the armband are in direct contact with your skin. Do not to wear your armband too tightly; it should fit comfortably with no discomfort .
5. Pair the armband with your smartphone, allowing a portable way to check your daily progress. Hold down the button on the armband for five seconds, until the memory and battery status lights flash an amber color. Using your smartphone's Bluetooth setup, or "discover mode," connect your armband to your phone. Accept the pairing by pressing OK on your phone, and if prompted for a password, enter 0000. Pairing is now complete.
6. Track your daily progress of calories in and calories burned by using the simple online programs provided. Your armband will do all of the uploading work for you.
