Wedding bands can be purchased in a brick and mortar store or from an online or other catalog store. At a brick and mortar location, the jeweler will size your finger for you to ensure a proper fit. Instructions
1. Obtain a ring sizing band. If you go to a brick and mortar store, the jeweler will use a professional set and tell you your size. Most online or catalog stores will mail you a plastic set similar to the professional sizer a jeweler uses, or have you print of a measurement band for you to use.
2. Slip the ring sizer over your ring finger. If you are using a paper sizer, loop it over your finger and tighten the sizer until it feels comfortable on your finger. A plastic or metal sizer works differently than a paper sizer. A plastic or metal ring sizer will have numerous ring loops that you will have to slip over your finger one at a time until you find the one that fits your finger properly.
3. Write down your ring size. No matter which method you are using to size your finger the sizer will clearly indicate the size. When placing you ring order make sure that you indicate the correct size, even half of a difference in ring size can make the band too big or small for your finger.
