Set an Armitron Watch


If you have changed a battery or accidentally turned your Armitron watch off recently, you may be wondering get it back to full capacity. Fortunately, this watch is easy to set if you know what to do with its four buttons. Here are some steps to help you get over the confusion of setting the time and date on this watch. Instructions


1. Look at your watch as if it were a clock face, even though it may be a digital. Most Armitron watches have four buttons around the perimeter of the watch. There will be a button at the 2 o'clock position; this will be button "A." There will also be a button at the 4 o'clock position. Consider this button "B." On the opposite side will be button "C" at the 8 o'clock position and button "D" at 10 o'clock.


2. Press the "D" button until the numbers begin to flash on your digital watch. Press and hold the "D" button again until the seconds begin to flash by themselves. Press the "B" button to advance the seconds. You may hold down the button in order to cycle through the numbers faster.


3. Hold down the "A" button in order to move on to setting the Armitron minutes. Once they begin flashing, press the "B" button just like you did to adjust the seconds. Press the "A" button one more time, and you will see the hours flash on your watch face. Hold down the "B" button and cycle through, making sure the a.m. and p.m. is correct.


4. Change the date on your Armitron watch by once again pressing the "A" button. This should cause your date to blink. Press the "B" button to change the days.


5. Cycle through the months by pressing the "A" button one final time and holding down the "B" button.
