Rotate The View On A Movie From Vertical To Horizontal

Rotating a video from vertical to horizontal after shooting it isn't difficult.

Many people turn their camcorder sideways and record video vertically. This may be necessary to fit all of your subject into the video. However, you will then need to rotate the video from vertical to horizontal in order to watch it. Many free video-editing programs have tools that will allow you to rotate a video. After you choose a program and download it onto your computer, you can rotate your videos in a matter of minutes.

Instructions

1. Download and install Windows Live Movie Maker (please see the Resources section). Open the free program when the installation process is complete.

2. Click the "Add videos and photos" button, which is at the top of the screen. Navigate to the video file you want to rotate. Select the video file and click "Open." The file will be imported to the program.
