Rotate The Screen On Your Laptop

As computer operating systems become more and more advanced, they now offer users complete control over every aspect of their machines, including the monitor. If you use the Microsoft Windows Vista or Windows 7 operating system on your laptop, you can rotate the screen in four ways. This enables you to display content on your laptop's screen in virtually every way you could possibly need.

Instructions

1. Right-click on your laptop computer's desktop. Select "Personalize" from the screen that appears.

2. Look for the "See Also" menu on the left side of the window. Click on the option that reads "Display" under this menu.

3. Click on the option that reads "Change Display Settings" from the left side of the window.

4. Click on the "Orientation" drop-down menu to display the various ways you can rotate your laptop's screen. You can choose from "Landscape" (which is the standard display setting), "Portrait" (which will make your screen appear taller than it is wide), "Landscape (Flipped)" or "Portrait (Flipped)." These last two options are mirror images of standard "Landscape" and "Portrait."

5. Click on the "Apply" button to put your changes into effect. If you're satisfied, click the "OK" button to save your changes.
