With Qwest Wi-Fi you can access the Internet away from home.
As a Qwest high-speed Internet customer, you also get free access to the Qwest wireless Internet in any AT&T Wi-Fi-powered hots pot. These Qwest wireless Internet connections, or hot spots, are found throughout the U.S. in many major metropolitan areas. You only need a laptop with wireless abilities and some basic information about your Qwest account.
Instructions
1. Look at your Qwest high-speed Internet bill for your billing telephone number--the telephone number of bill payer on record with Qwest--and customer code. These are located on the top of your Qwest bill and can be used together for your login and password for Qwest Wi-Fi.
2. Look at the name on the bill--this is the primary account holder. If the primary account holder is not you, ask the primary account holder for the last four digits of his social security number. These last four digits can be used with the billing phone number as a login and password.
3. Go to the Qwest website and register your Qwest phone account with your preferred login and password. You can then use these to log in to the Qwest wireless Internet hot spot. When you open your browser in a hot spot you will be prompted for this information.
