We sometimes forget that the men in our lives need and want to feel important. There are easy ways to make your man feel important, and he will appreciate your effort. From telling him how good he looks to giving him a wink and a smile, you can brighten his day and make him feel like the most special man in the world.

Making a Man Feel Important
1. Ask him to do things for you that you can't do by yourself. Men like to feel like they are needed around the house, or with any other aspect in your life. Ask him to fix something that has been broken for quite some time; he will feel good that you depend on him for some things.
2. Plan a day just for him. It can be for his birthday or any random day--just let him know that he is appreciated. Cook his favorite meal, pick up his favorite movies or take him to a dinner and a movie, on you. Planning some of his favorite activities will let him know that his happiness is important to you.
3. Call him just to say hi. Calling him out of the blue will let him know that he is important to you. While on the phone, ask him about his day and be genuinely interested in what he has to say.
4. Ask your man for his opinion on things that are going on in your life. Knowing that his opinion counts within your life and your relationship will not only make him feel important, it will make him feel loved.
5. Take your man to a family event. While there, make him feel like a part of your family and introduce him to family members he hasn't met before. Make sure everyone knows how important he is to you.
6. Be affectionate toward him when in a group. When you and your man are with a group of people, hold his hand or kiss him on the check to reaffirm your love for him. Make sure everyone knows he is yours.
7. Compliment your man when he looks good. Just like women, a man likes to look good for his significant other. Let him know how good he looks with a simple, "you look great today," or, "I love that shirt on you". He will be on cloud nine for the rest of the day.
