Link Jelly Bracelets

Jelly bracelets can be linKed together to create belts.

Jelly bracelets are pieces of pliable plastic that are worn over the wrist or ankle. They come in a variety of colors, textures and thickness. These bracelets can range in price from 25 cents from a vending machine to over $10 dollars from designers like Mark Jacobs. Jelly bracelets can be linked together to create belts, or other projects. The thinner and more pliable the jelly bracelet, the easier it is to link them together.

Instructions

1. Place one jelly bracelet over your thumb and fingers, no lower than the first knuckle. Repeat with the other jelly bracelet on the opposite hand.

2. Pull your thumbs away from your fingers to create an "O" look with the jelly bracelets.

3. Slip the fingers on your right hand, through the center of the jelly bracelet on your left hand. The thumb should remain outside.

4. Pull the left thumb away and curl the fingers on the left hand down, slipping them under the jelly bracelet that is resting on top of the fingers of the right hand.

5. Pull both jelly bracelets in the opposite direction while slipping your right thumb away. The bracelets will now be joined in the center by an easily removable knot.
