Increase Dosage On Phentermine Hcl

Phentermine is an appetite suppressant used in the treatment of obesity.


Phentermine HCl, known by various brand names, most commonly Fastin and Adipex-P, is a medication used for the treatment of obesity. The medication is an appetite suppressant and is used as part of a comprehensive weight loss plan, which includes exercise and dieting. Typically, Phentermine is used for a short-term treatment period, about 3 to 6 weeks. It is available in tablets and extended-release capsules. Phentermine HCl dosage may be increased or decreased depending on the individual.


Instructions


1. Monitor the progression of your weight loss plan: take Phentermine according to your prescription, exercise routinely and diligently adhere to your weight loss diet.


2. Make an appointment with your doctor if you are not satisfied with the progression of your weight loss plan or you are not losing any weight.


3. Speak with your physician about your weight loss plan and Phentermine. Indicate any changes in your lifestyle and your experience with Phentermine. Your physician will adjust your dose accordingly; this may be an increase, decrease, discontinuation or your dose may be kept the same.


4. Do not increase the dosage on your own, you must consult a physician before any changes to the prescription are made. Increasing the amount you take does not necessarily provide better results.
