Get Vaginal Rejuvenation

Childbirth and gravity can make your genital area loose and unappealing, which can cause many problems in the bedroom. Vaginal rejuvenation is a surgical way to make your vagina tight again, and maybe put a spark back in your love life. If you're in the market for this type of surgery, it's important to know the facts before proceeding.

Instructions

1. Consider the risks and benefits. Vaginal rejuvenation is a modified version of a surgery meant to help with urinary incontinence. If it's done properly, you can expect to have better vaginal muscle tone, strength and overall control in the genital area. If it's done improperly, you may lose sensation in the area and experience discoloration and other cosmetic issues. Discuss the pros and cons of the surgery with your doctor to make sure that the procedure is right for you.

2. Get a consultation. During your medical consultation, your doctor will examine the area and look over your medical history to make sure that you're a candidate for the surgery.

3. Know what to expect. Vaginal rejuvenation surgery is a 1-hour outpatient procedure that's done in your doctor's office. You'll receive a local anesthesia, which is generally tolerable for most women. After the procedure is complete, you may also receive a prescription for pain medication to take during the weeks of recovery.

4. Be careful while healing. Most women experience swelling in the genital area following vaginal rejuvenation surgery. You will be asked to refrain from sexual activity for several weeks, and avoid using tampons or douches for at least six weeks.
