Eat In Las Vegas On The Cheap

Eat in Las Vegas on the Cheap. There's plenty of cheap (and excellent) food to be found in Las Vegas right along with those fancy (and expensive) five-star restaurants. If you're a gambler, you might even be able to get food for free - although you'll probably pay for it with the money you're likely to lose at the slots.

Instructions

1. Buy a budget travel guide to Las Vegas before you leave home. Pay special attention to the dining section for an overview of the budget restaurant scene.

2. Search the Web for restaurant information including reviews, tips on where to save money and listings by area.

3. Ask at your hotel about special offers for nearby restaurants. The staff may be able to provide you with coupons or discounts.

4. Look for local publications that feature current ads, coupons or discounts for Las Vegas dining. Or, stop by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority and inquire about special deals.

5. Stick to buffets if you have a big appetite. Nearly all the casinos offer buffets, and some are available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are generally discounts for kids, and small children can often eat free.

6. See "Get Free Food in Las Vegas" in Related eHows for information on obtain discounted or free meals at casinos. Note that these perks are usually available only to gamblers.

7. Avoid casinos and choose from the large variety of sandwich shops, fast-food restaurants and chain diners in town. These are the cheapest way to go, although they may not be that much cheaper than a weekday buffet.
