The Pokemon Modifier is an Action Replay cheat code that allows you to capture any Pokemon. You must first have the cheat code loaded into your Action Replay cartridge. You can download the cheat code databases from the official Action Replay website at Code Junkies. You can also find the codes from other online Pokemon forums and websites.
Instructions
1. Insert your Action Replay cartridge in your Nintendo DS and turn the system on.
2. Select the "Pokemon Modifier" cheat from the cheat list and deselect any currently active cheat.
3. Start the game and press the "L" and "R" buttons simultaneously. The cheat will place 493 Masterballs in the items section of your bag.
4. Go to your Pokedex and determine the Pokedex number for the Pokemon you want to capture.
5. Subtract the Pokedex number from the number of Masterballs you have, which is 493. This is the number of Masterballs you want to keep in your bag.
6. Remove Masterballs from your bag until you have the number from the step above. For example, the Pikachu is number 25 in the Pokedex. To capture the Pikachu, you would subtract 25 from 493, which is 468. You would need to keep 468 Masterballs in your bag to activate the cheat.
7. Travel out to a grassy path where you can usually capture Pokemon.
8. Hold the "L" button down on your Nintendo DS and walk through the grassy path. The Pokemon that you want to capture will appear.
9. Capture the Pokemon in battle using a Masterball.
