Staple
A product patented in 1841, today a stapler can be found in almost every modern home and office. This indispensable tool helps users to quickly attach two or more sheets of paper. While there are several types of staplers, the most common include desktop, electric and heavy duty staplers. The heavy duty and electric varieties are better suited for large jobs and thick stacks of paper than are desktop staplers. Whether you are performing routine office tasks or putting materials together into packets, take a minute to familiarize yourself with the proper operating techniques for each stapler type.
