Instructions
Flower
1. Tie a slip knot in the end of the yarn and place it on the hook. Make 53 chain stitches.
2. Make a double crochet in the fifth chain from the hook. Make 1 chain stitch.
3. Skip the next chain, then make a double crochet stitch in the next chain. Repeat this all the way across the row.
4. Make 3 chain stitches and turn in the opposite direction. Make 6 double crochet stitches in the first large space. Make 1 single crochet stitch in the next big space. Repeat this all the way across to create flower petals.
5. Cast off the yarn, then cut it. Leave a 30-inch tail, which will hold the flower together.
Assembly
6. Thread the tail through the yarn needle. Roll up the end of the flower to form a spiral shape. Sew it to the previous petal using the tail.
7. Roll the flower in a spiral so it begins to look more like a blossom. When you have wrapped the spiral around three times, begin to flatten it out as you sew to make it look wider. The flower should be starting to have a layered look.
8. Cast off but leave any extra tail when you reach the end of the flower. Repeat the steps above to create a second flower. Use the extra tail to sew the two flowers together back to back.
Hanging Loop
9. Make a slip knot with a new piece of yarn and make 40 chain stitches. Make a slip stitch in the second chain stitch from the hook and in each stitch across.
10. Cast off but leave a 35-inch tail for sewing the loop to the flower puff. Thread the tail onto a yarn needle.
11. Sew the hanging loop onto the flower with using the tail and the yarn needle. Cast off the yarn and cut ends. Weave any tails into the crochet stitches to hide them.
